Dear Heavenly Father,
You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In Your kindness, look upon Seth in his critical need of healing, and upon all who care for him. You know every hair on his head (Luke 12:7), and nothing escapes Your loving care.We pray also for the medical teams. Give the doctors, nurses, therapists, technicians, and specialists strength and wisdom as they monitor Seth and care for him. We praise you for giving these providers the vast knowledge and tools and advanced equipment to use —from ventilators, imaging scans, IVs — to every form of technology used to promote healing in Seth’s body. Grant them wisdom and steady hands as they care for him day and night. We also ask You to guide the surgeons, anesthesiologists, and every other professional who may step in to help as needed. In Your mercy, strengthen and guide these servants so they can be instruments of Your healing.
We lift up Seth’s parents, Dave and Darcy, as well as his siblings, Hannah and Ben. Comfort them with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Reassure them of Your unwavering love, reminding them that in Christ, You hold all things together (Colossians 1:17). Renew their hope daily as they wait upon Your perfect will.
Lord, we also remember Ben. Although our attention is rightly on Seth, let us not forget that Ben was also injured in the accident—and needs your healing hand. Free him from worry and grant him patience as he recovers from his injuries. Let the whole family find solace in the promise that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38–39).
If it be Your will, grant Seth the miracle of fully restored health. Calm the swelling in his brain and strengthen his lungs. Keep infection at bay and bring clarity to the tests that are being run. Yet, in all things, we humbly submit to Your perfect wisdom, for Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9). Remind us that Christ has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4), so that even in pain, we have hope in Him.
We trust Your hand, O Lord, knowing that You work all things according to Your gracious purpose.
Bless the entire Meyer family with courage, patience, and unwavering faith. In the mighty name of Jesus, our risen Savior, we pray. Amen.

My favorite verse:
“I waited patiently for the LORD; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”
Psalm 40:1-2 KJVI pray that the Lord continues to hear everyone’s prayers, see Seth, lift him out of this pain and provides a full recovery and complete miracle. I also pray for Ben, his injury, and for his peace. From reading this page, I’m inspired by all the community’s prayers and care for the Meyer family and I trust God sees this all. This reminds me of the verse “Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

Darcy and Family,
You are constantly on our minds as we continue to pray for Seth throughout our days. I’m sure the last week has left you mentally and physically exhausted, but hopefully also a little bit uplifted, as you continue to see all the people rallying around you and lifting you all up to our Lord and Savior who loves you even more than all of the prayer warriors combined. My prayer for you at this particular moment is that you can all rest easy in the Lord this afternoon and into the evening so that you can meet tomorrow with a renewed spirit and strength that only our loving Savior can provide. May Seth’s body continue to rest and heal and also giving thanks for the doctors and nurses who are in charge of his care. You are all so loved.
